______________________________________ Episode 5Recorded July 28st, 2008 DOWNLOAD (RIGHT CLICK)STREAMSize: 21.9 mbs Length: 00:38:23 Hosts: Eric Fuerst, Rob Davies, Cain Angelle Rundown: "The Midnight Movie" returns to talk about... things completely irrelevant to anything. We start off by talking this weeks film, Danny Boyle's "Trainspotting", and then we talk about films that don't relate to it in anyway. It's wonderful. Those trying to avoid spoilers be warned - we do spoil "Requiem for a Dream", and parts of "There Will Be Blood". We're taking a week off next week, but we'll be back on August 11th! Upcoming Episodes: August 4th, 2008: NO NEW EPISODE August 11th, 2008: Akuma Tantei (Nightmare Detective) (Tsukamoto, 2006) August 18th, 2008: Happy Accidents (Anderson, 2000) August 25th, 2008: Boogie Nights (P.T. Anderson, 1997) ____________________________________

I got a headset I'm definitely down for some horror and comedy discussions. This sounds cool. Cool like me. That's cool.

If I know in advance what time you'd be doing it then I could definitely make the effort to stay up and talk. Children of Men is one of my favourite films so I could talk forever about how awesome it is.

This is still happening as scheduled! We decided we'll be recording Monday night at 11:30 central, 12:30 eastern. Roughly an hour or so after Raw ends.
Anyone who has seen Children of Men is welcome to join in. Just IM me/post in here and we'll look to either call your phone or you can join us on Skype.
Also, we're looking for another host for this show. Our main subject is looking to be "Best of 2007", with each of us giving a top 5 list. This does require that you have a headset, but that's it.
Rish, we'd love to have you on the show... but, the time probably is horrible for you. If you'd like, you can record a quick review like 1-3 minutes in length about what you liked about the film, and i'll edit it in. Anyone else is welcome to do that, as well!

I might be able to participate in this Monday's discussion... I'll definitely take part in the next one (the superhero one), and if my schedule allows, I'd love to be involved in lots more.

______________________________________ Episode 1Recorded June 30th, 2008 DOWNLOAD (RIGHT CLICK)Size: 35.9 mbs Length: 01:02:50 Hosts: Eric Fuerst, Rob Davies, Cain Angelle, Bob Huber, Billy Sooksavath Rundown: In our debut episode, we discuss Alfonso Cuarón's "Children of Men" in detail. Also, we're joined in the second half of the show by Bob and Billy as we all give our Top 5 favorite films from 2007. It's an absolute disaster of a show... but we promise, it'll get better! Upcoming Episodes: July 7th, 2008: Confessions of a Superhero (Ogens, 2007) July 14th, 2008: He Was a Quiet Man (Cappello, 2007) July 21st, 2008: Akumu Tantei (Nightmare Detective) (Tsukamoto, 2006) ____________________________________ This show did not go as planned... we had originally wanted a longer discussion of Children of Men, however we ended up with five people discussing the films of 2007. Things will change for next week as this was quite the clusterfuck. If you get a chance to watch Confessions of a Superhero, post in this thread and we'll get you on the show!

This show starts off strong and then suddenly takes a turn for the worst. It was a lot of fun to record though. And like Eric said we promise it will get better!

I had no internet for the past week so obviously couldn't contribute anything. I'll try my best to watch Confessions of a Superhero this week and do a little somethin' somethin'. I'll be away on holiday until the 27th so I'll miss the next two.
